98144 Northwest African American Museum

The Northwest African American Museum (NAAM) is located at 2300 S. Massachusetts St. The NAAM shows the important history, culture, and art of the African people.  They house about 200 various artifacts. The  Journey Gallery is a permanent exhibit showing the journey of African Americans to the Pacific Northwest.

After your museum experience head over to Borracchini's Bakery.  Borracchini's Bakery is an Italian historic bakery founded in 1922.   They make Italian breads, donuts, pies, cookies, cakes, etc...  The bakery also has a delicatessen and various lunch offerings including pizza and soups.  They are pretty affordable too!  The bakery is located at 2307 Rainier Ave. S.

Do either of you know how your ancestors came to live where you family is established?  Do you have any stories to share about your ancestors trip or about them in general?
