Ship Canal Trail links the Burke-Gilman Trail via the Fremont Avenue Bridge with the bike path on W. Emerson Place near Fishermen't Terminal. It is covered in asphalt and is fairly flat. It is nearly 2 miles long- perfect for inline skating- especially if you are new at it!
