Meeple's Games & Cafe is located on the second floor of the Charlestown Center, 3727 California Ave SW #2B.  Meeple's is a gaming cafe where you can purchase games and play.  They have tournaments as well.  So check them out and explore their shop for a new game.  The staff is very knowledgeable and can help you find what you are looking for.

The cafe offers pastries from local bakeries, coffees, sodas, sandwiches, and snacks.  They have the perfect foods to keep your energy up while playing games.

Find a game you have never played but looks interesting or a favorite you do not own, purchase it and play it together while enjoying your food.  Do you like to play games together?  Are  you competitive- do you like to win or do you play just for fun?

Johnny Cash Steak & Eggs

Easy Street Records & Cafe, located at 4559 California Ave SW, is a funky record store.  They buy, sell, and trade music.  They have listening stations for you to  listen to what is currently on the "menu." Their cafe is open from  7 am to 3 pm daily.   Their menu items have all been named after famous musicians and bands.  Saturday and Sunday they serve eggs Benedict- or "Benny and the Jets."  Take some time to browse their vast music collection and enjoy some yummy food as well.

During your date talk about what kind of music you like.  What kind of music did you like when you were a teen?  Has it changed?  Why?  Do you have a song for the two of you? Is there an album you would like to purchase and listen to at home?

Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream is located at 917 E. Pine St.  Molly Moon's is a Seattle specialty.  They have traditional as well as unique flavors, like balsamic strawberry and honey lavender.  The smell from their homemade waffle cones fills the air, so you will definitely want to get your ice cream in a waffle cone!

They really care about people at Molly Moon's.  They pay 100% of their employees health insurance premiums, donate milk to local food banks, use local ingredients, and are a green business. 

While enjoying your cones take a walk, hold hands, and give each other licks of your ice cream.  Sometimes it is nice to just be together.  Talk about your favorite ice cream.  Plan on making your own ice cream together on future date.

Sandbox Sports is an indoor sand volleyball courts.  They offer leagues, clinics, classes, and they even rent out their facilities for private parties.  So sign up for a clinic or a class and get those volleyball skills up to par!

A Katsu Burger is a Japanese deep fried burger. You can choose from ground beef, chicken breast, or pork loin.  They also have tofu burgers too. You have  a choice of flavors for your fries as well- sea salt, curry, or nori.  So after you are played out at Sandbox Sports, head over to Katsu Burger and grab a bite to eat.

The Paramount Theatre seats 2,807 people and is located at 911 Pine St.  The grand opening of this magnificent theatre was in 1928.  Throughout the years it has been home to many wonderful shows.  You will not want to miss out seeing a performance here.  Check their website for the schedule.

Purple Cafe & Wine Bar The lobster mac and cheese is a customer favorite!  They also have a large selection of wines as well.  Purple uses fresh foods for their entrees as well as Northwest grown foods.

Absence does not make the heart grow fonder!  It is important to regularly date and spend time with each other.  Spending too much time away distances you from your relationship and can cause issues, so make a plan to get out together at least once a week.

Vertical World offers classes to learn to belay and climb.  They have drop in sessions to climb once you have a certified person to belay.  This would be a fun date to do with your spouse.  It takes trust to climb and have some one belay you.  What a great opportunity to share this experience with your spouse!

Blue Heron is a small neighborhood cafe offering breakfast and lunch cuisine.  They have indoor and outdoor seating with very attentive staff.
