Discovery Park sits on 534 acres on the shores of the Puget Sound.  It is the largest park in Seattle and is located at 3801 Discovery Park Blvd.  The park has two miles of beach front property.  They also have an Environmental Learning Center on site.

Niko's Gyros is located at 2231 32 Ave W.  Niko's is a family owned restaurant and they feature Greek cuisine and have gyros, falafel, salads and more.  The avgolomeno soup with a side of pita bread is a customer favorite!

So before you head over to Discovery Park, take the time to grab some Greek food at Niko's for your picnic.  Don't forget to bring a blanket!

Atomic Boys has nostalgic candies, novelty and retro toys, and more!  Do you have a craving for your favorite childhood candy?  They probably have it at Atomic Boys.  They are located at 4311 Admiral Way SW.  Check out their store for some fun window shopping.

Pizzeria 22 is located at 4213 SW College St. Their food is cooked in a wood burning oven giving it a unique flavor.  Their pizza is traditional Neapolitan.  They also have yummy salads and appetizers.   

Have you let your boundaries get the better of your relationship?  When we are comfortable with another person we tend to let our manners go by the wayside.  Make sure you use please and thank you with one another.  Do not burp or pass gas in front of one another and please shut the door to the bathroom while you are there.  Nothing kills the mood than gas!  Keep these boundaries and your marriage will thank you!

Seattle Reign is Seattle's professional women's soccer team.  They play at Memorial Stadium located at 401 5th Ave N.  The team started playing in 2013 in the National Women's Soccer League.  In 2014 they came in 1st place and runner up in the play offs.  Check their website for the current schedule.

 

Icebox Tenth West is a delicatessen and mini grocery store.  They serve yummy breakfast and lunch items.  Their sandwiches are a customer favorite.  Icebox Tenth West is located at 1903 10th Ave W.

When you are angry at your spouse do you start yelling?  Yelling creates more tension and usually you end up not getting anything solved.  Next time calm down first and then talk about how you are feeling without yelling.  

98109 Rat City Rollergirls

Rat City Rollergirls have about 80 active skaters on 4 different teams.  They promote competitive athletic games on a flat track.  Roller derbies are lots of fun, so if you have never been to one plan on taking in one of the competitions.

Nosh serves super yummy fish & chips, roasted bone marrow, fried rabbit, and sandwiches.  They are a local favorite and lines can be long.  

Do you know how to roller skate?  Would you want to learn? Why or why not?  Asking questions on your date helps you get to know your spouse better.

98126 Alki Kayak Tours

Alki Kayak Tours  (1660 Harbor Ave. SW) offers a unique experience to see Seattle in a different way.  They offer daytime tours, evening tours, overnight tours, and more!  You will get a special one of a kind venture!  

Marination Ma Kai is right next to Alki Kayak Tours at 1660 Harbor Ave. They feature, Korean, Hawaiian, and Asian Fusion food.  Tacos, sliders, Hawaiian macaroni salad, and Kimchee fried rice are a few of the customer favorites.

Be realistic, your spouse cannot read your mind.  Communicate your needs and your relationship will flourish.  Practice communicating what you want during your date.

The Seattle Repertory Theatre is located at 155 Mercer St (Seattle Center).  The Theatre offers several different play every year, so there is sure to be something that catches your fancy.  Do something different with your spouse and go to one of the plays- it will be a fun experience for both of you.

Agave serves contemporary Mexican food made with fresh ingredients, gluten free options, and vegan options as well.  Your taste buds will be super happy after your meal!

If you have hurt the other person, apologize.  Do not let those negative feelings get in the way of the love you have for each other.  If you have been hurt, forgive and let go.  Do not keep bringing up your hurt.

Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center is located at 4705 W. Marginal Way SW.  The center does not charge admission but appreciates donations.  They have monthly events including workshops, demonstrations, and lectures.  Check their website for more information.

Greenbridge Cafe (9901 8th Ave. SW) features fresh gourmet soups and salads.  They also have yummy breads to go along with your soups and salads.
