98104 Seattle Pinball Museum


Seattle has their own pinball museum!  How cool is that?  For $10 you can play all the pinball games you want.  They have two floors of pinball machines and a few classic video games.  This is a fun filled date waiting to happen!


Casco Antiguo (115 Occidental Ave S.) has yummy tacos and their enchiladas are a customer favorite!  They make their own tortillas so they are fresh and tasty.

While you are playing the games, talk about your most embarrassing moments. Sharing these embarrassing moments with each can give you a deeper connection.  It is hard to admit something you feel silly about, but it shows your spouse your trust them.

98117 Nordic Heritage Museum



The Nordic Heritage Museum is located at 3014 NW 67th St.  Their permanent exhibitions, which are located on all three floors, include a gallery for each of the Scandinavian countries, folk art, logging and fishing industries, and the immigration to American.  Keep in mind they are closed on Mondays. 
Killer Dog

Diggity Dog is located at  Meridian Ave. N. They have a huge variety of toppings for their hot dog, veggie dogs, field roast dogs, sausages, and chicken sausages.  Even though they are famous for their hot dogs they also offer burgers, grilled sandwiches, and cold sandwiches.

There is just something special about getting up early in the quiet of the morning with your spouse to watch the sunrise.  During this peaceful setting you can sit and talk about your dreams and desires for your marriage.  In what ways can you build your friendship?  Day dream about places you want to see together.  Just enjoy each other's company.


Chelan Cafe serves up a yummy breakfast! So this is the a great place to go after watching the sunrise with your sweetheart.  I have heard they have the best eggs Benedict in all of Seattle!

Get a different view of Seattle by taking a cycling tour with Seattle Cycling Tours.  Seattle Cycling Tours offers twice daily historic Seattle tours.  Plan your tour and get exploring Seattle in a whole different way.  The tour lasts about 2 3/4 hours and you ride about 6 miles.  They do have other cycling tours to choose from as well so check out their website for more details.

Confectional offers exquisite mini cheesecakes in a variety of delightful flavors.  They also sell cheesecake truffles!  They do offer a sugar-free cheesecake as well.  So head over to Confectional at 1530 Pike Pl. after your bike ride and sink your teeth into one of their yummy creations!

While you are devouring your cheesecakes talk to each other about other adventures you want to try together as a couple.  Set a goal to try one of those adventures in the next 6 months.  Couples who set goals and accomplish them together stay stronger and have a happier marriage.

98109 The Center for Wooden Boats


The Center for Wooden Boats (1010 Valley St.) has exhibits, lessons, classes, a weekly public sail, and boat rentals.  The museum strives to preserve and document maritime history.

 As you are browsing the museum make sure you hold hands.  Pretend you are on your first date.  Ask each other questions like their favorite color and food.  Flirt with each other.  Remember how silly you were when you were first dating- recreate it.


Feeling hungry?  Head over to Citizen Cafe & Bar for a bite to eat.  
Citizen Cafe & Bar, located at 706 Taylor Ave., serves crepes, salads, drinks, sandwiches.    

98104 Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience



The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience is located at 719 King St.  The museum features various exhibits from different Asian nationalities.  This is a great place to learn more about Asian culture.  The exhibits change so make sure you check their website for the current schedule.


Tsukushinbo, located at 515 S. Main St, features sushi rolls and hot Japanese cuisine.  Friday nights they have a special- bowl of ramen, cup of rice, and three gyozas all for $8.95- the line is long so go early!!

During your meal tell your spouse something you need to forgive him/her for.  Forgiveness is a powerful tool and can help you as a couple become closer and more connected.

98105 Create a Souvenir

Paint the Town, located in the University Village Shopping Center at 4611 Village Court NE, has over 250 different ceramic pieces to choose from for you to paint.  This is a great opportunity for you and your spouse to create a one of a kind souvenir.  Prices range from $6 to $60 and includes piece, painting, firing, and glaze.  After you are finished Paint the Town will glaze and fire your piece for you.  It will be ready for you in about a week.  This will be a wonderful keepsake for you to remember this special time together.  

While you are painting have each of you think of your favorite memory you shared. Share with each other what the memory was and why it is your favorite.  Include your feelings and thoughts as you share this favorite memory together.  As you share your favorite memories it will bring you closer together.

When you are done with your masterpiece head over to Shawarma King (5004 University Way NE) and have a yummy meal.  They specialize in Mediterranean and Egyptian cuisine.  The Gyro is the customer favorite.
